Second Inning Rally Sparks Win For the North Paulding Wolfpack JV 16-1

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV beat the North Cobb Lady Warriors 16-1 in four innings on Tuesday at North Cobb High School after a nine-run explosion in the second inning.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV scored in the second on an RBI single by E.J. Edusei, a two-run single by Baleigh Tibbitts, an RBI double by Maddy Holloway, a two-run single by Emma Wilson, a RBI single by Nikki Smith, and two wild pitches.

Ashlee Bell got a hit in each of her four at bats.  She tripled in the third inning and singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.

The North Cobb Lady Warriors had no answer for Wilson, who kept runners off the basepaths in her appearance.  The North Cobb Lady Warriors managed just one hit off of the North Paulding Wolfpack JV’s pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked six and struck out eight during her four innings of work.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV’s Bell, Smith, Tibbitts and Wilson combined for 11 hits and eight RBI’s.

Tessa McAllister ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss.  She allowed nine runs in two innings, walked one and struck out one.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV added five more runs in the top of the third.  A triple by Bell ignited the offense, scoring Tibbitts.  That was followed up by Loren Walker’s double plating Holloway.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV increased their lead with two runs in the fourth.  A clutch passed ball scored Alex Hawley to open the scoring in the frame.
