The North Paulding Wolfpack JV jumped out to an early lead on Kennesaw Mountain Lady Mustangs and captured an 11-0 victory on Thursday at North Paulding High School.
With 11 runs in the first three innings, the North Paulding Wolfpack JV left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
A walk by Maddy Holloway, a walk by Loren Walker, a sacrifice fly by Nikki Smith, a groundout by Emma Wilson, and a wild pitch in the first inning and a two-run triple by Walker, a passed ball, and a walk by E.J. Edusei during the second inning supplied the early offense for the North Paulding Wolfpack JV.
Walker racked up three RBIs on one hit for the North Paulding Wolfpack JV.
Kennesaw Mountain Lady Mustangs couldn’t get anything going so long as Jill Dixon was on the hill. Kennesaw Mountain Lady Mustangs managed just one hit off of Dixon, who allowed no earned runs, walked two, and struck out three during her four innings of work.
Ashlynn Norrell for Kennesaw Mountain Lady Mustangs, took the loss. She walked seven, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
