The North Paulding Wolfpack JV Make the Most of 4 Hits in 5-0 Victory Over Allatoona Lady Bucs

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV and Allatoona Lady Bucs both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the North Paulding Wolfpack JV that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-0 win at Allatoona High School.

Allatoona Lady Bucs out-hit North Paulding Wolfpack JV six to four, but Allatoona Lady Bucs stranded seven runners on base.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV’s Jill Dixon kept Allatoona Lady Bucs off the scoreboard for all six innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on six hits while ringing up five and allowing no walks.

Kaylyn Drawdy took the loss. She worked three innings, walked five, struck out five, and allowed four runs.

The lead stayed with the North Paulding Wolfpack JV after the first, when they scored one run on a passed ball.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV piled on two more runs in the top of the second. A single by Emma Wilson ignited the offense. That was followed up by Baleigh Tibbitts’s single, plating Wilson.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the third, the North Paulding Wolfpack JV scored on a wild pitch, bringing home Maddy Holloway.

Marisa Pierce had a sterling day in right field for the North Paulding Wolfpack JV. She had three assists on three chances including throwing out two batters at first base.  She also gunned down a baserunner attempting to advance from first to second on a hit.

North Paulding Wolfpack JV Fall to Creekview Lady Grizzlies B 2-0

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV’s Emma Wilson pitched six innings, but the North Paulding Wolfpack JV provided little run support, allowing Creekview Lady Grizzlies B to steal a 2-0 win Saturday at Allatoona High School.

Erin Griffin got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She tossed seven innings of shutout ball. She struck out two, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Wilson took the loss for the North Paulding Wolfpack JV.

Creekview Lady Grizzlies B stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fifth, scoring one run on an RBI double by Hannah Fitzgerald.

Torri Gaddis’s No-Hitter Stops the North Paulding Wolfpack JV, 12-0

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV fell 12-0 to Calhoun Lady Jackets as Torri Gaddis threw a no-hitter on Friday at GA Highlands College.

No North Paulding Wolfpack JV batter was able to locate Gaddis’ pitches during the game. Gaddis threw a no-hitter, striking out five batters and walking one. She got Maddy Holloway to fly out for the final out of the game.

Calhoun Lady Jackets easily handled the North Paulding Wolfpack JV pitching as six hitters combined for eight hits, eight RBIs and eight runs scored.

Jill Dixon was the game’s losing pitcher. She allowed seven runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked eight and struck out none.

Calhoun Lady Jackets stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring six runs on a two-run error and an RBI single by Tori Roper.

Emma Wilson Makes 2 Runs Hold Up For the North Paulding Wolfpack JV in 2-1 Win Over the Woodland Wildcats

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV didn’t provide Emma Wilson with much support, but she didn’t need much. Wilson pitched six strong innings to carry the North Paulding Wolfpack JV to a 2-1 win over the Woodland Wildcats in six innings on Friday at GA Highlands College.

Sarah Baynard was charged with the loss. She pitched 5 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.

The Woodland Wildcats managed to score one run in the second inning on an RBI single by Jaylen Vaughn.

The North Paulding Wolfpack JV never trailed after scoring one run in the fifth on an RBI single by Jill Dixon.
