Douglas county falls 18-6 at the hands of the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity beat Douglas county on Saturday 18-6 in five innings.

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity scored seven runs in the first on a wild pitch, a two-run home run by Tiffany Watson, a two-run single by Chelsey Casteel, and a two-run error.

Abby Chandler boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 1-1 day at the plate to pace the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. She singled in the fourth inning.

Shay Sullins got the win in relief for the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. Sullins pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed no runs.

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity brought home five runs in the fourth inning, and matched that run total in the fifth. In the fourth, the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity scored on a walk by Sullins, plating Chandler.

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity built upon their lead with five runs in the fifth. A error scored Meagan Coltrane for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by Bailey Noonan’s single, scoring Tori Nelson.
