All-around effort leads the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity past South Paulding 4-2

Shay Sullins was strong at the plate and in the circle in carrying the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity to a 4-2 victory over South Paulding on Wednesday. Sullins was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. She singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Sullins picked up the win for the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. Sullins allowed one earned run, nine hits and no walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to four lead changes in the game. The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity took the lead in the fifth inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Alyssa Brumelow scored Bailey Noonan and Riley Russell to give the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity the lead for good.
