The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity falls to Dacula 8-3 despite Meagan Coltrane’s performance

Meagan Coltrane went 2-2, but the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity still fell to Dacula 8-3 in six innings on Saturday. #9 recorded the win for Dacula. She allowed three runs over six innings. #9 struck out two, walked four and gave up eight hits.

Dacula’s #14, #15 and #12 combined for four hits and four RBIs.

Caeley Anderson took the loss for the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. She pitched five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The top of the first saw the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity take an early lead, 2-0. The Wolfpack attack began with a single from Alyssa Brumelow. Coltrane singled, scoring Riley Russell and Katie Bullard.

Dacula quickly matched the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity’s strong inning with a two-run inning of its own in the first. Dacula scored on a passed ball and an RBI double by #12.

Dacula survived the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity’s surge and put up one run in the second. Dacula scored on an RBI double by #14. Dacula didn’t relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the fifth inning when it scored on a two-run double by #24. Dacula added three more runs in the bottom of the sixth.

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity tops Eastside in back-and-forth affair, 9-4

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity outlasted Eastside on Saturday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 9-4 win. The Wolfpack Varsity took the lead in the fourth inning and held on for the victory. They went up for good on an RBI single by GB Day off Fairey, scoring Tori Nelson.

Alyssa Brumelow racked up four RBIs on three hits for the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. She singled in the first and third innings and homered in the fourth inning.

Shay Sullins got the win for the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. She allowed four runs over seven innings. She struck out two, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

In the top of the first, the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity grabbed the early lead, 1-0. After Brumelow singled, Abby Chandler singled, bringing home Katie Bullard.

Eastside survived the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity’s surge and put up one run of its own in the first. Eastside scored on a groundout by Hopper.

The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity went up for good in the fourth scoring five total runs, which came home on a three-run home run by Brumelow and an RBI single by Riley Russell. The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity increased their lead with two runs in the fifth. A error scored Jill Dixon to start the scoring in the inning.

One run in the bottom of the seventh helped Eastside close its deficit to 9-4. A wild pitch sparked Eastside’s rally. The North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity closed the game out when Sullins got Williams to fly out.
