North Paulding JV get on top of Calhoun Lady Jackets early but can’t hang on in 5-2 loss
North Paulding JV jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-2 to Calhoun Lady Jackets on Friday. While the Wolfpack led until the fifth inning, Calhoun Lady Jackets worked its way back and took the lead on an error. Player I got the win for Calhoun Lady Jackets. She allowed one run over four innings. Player I struck out two, walked none and gave up five hits. H. Folds couldn’t get it done in the circle for North, taking a loss. She lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed five runs. The top of the first saw Calhoun Lady Jackets take an early lead, 1-0. Player A doubled to ignite Calhoun Lady Jackets’ offense. A passed ball then moved Player A from second to third. The game’s last lead went to Calhoun Lady Jackets thanks to a fifth inning rally that saw four runs cross the plate on an error, a groundout by Player F, and a single by Player B.

North Paulding JV fall 7-1 to River Ridge Knights despite C. Schneider’s effort
North Paulding JV fell 7-1 to River Ridge Knights at North Paulding High School on Friday. Player F recorded the win for River Ridge Knights. She allowed one run over six innings. Player F struck out 13, walked one and gave up three hits. River Ridge Knights was sparked by Player A and Player I, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs. E. Mobley was the game’s losing pitcher. She allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out three. River Ridge Knights went up for good in the second, scoring six runs on three errors, an RBI single by PlayerI, and. The North Paulding Wolfpack JV scored their only run of the game on a ground out by A. Garren in the sixth inning.

North Paulding JV get more hits, but not more runs in 5-4 loss to TCC
The North Paulding Wolfpack JV lost 5-4 in six innings at North Paulding High School on Saturday, despite outhitting TCC eight to six. H. Folds put herself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for North. She doubled in the second and fourth innings. Player B got it done in the circle on the way to a win. She allowed four runs over six innings. Player B struck out five, walked four and gave up eight hits. TCC was sparked by Player A and Player D, who teamed up for four hits and five RBIs. H. Folds was the game’s losing pitcher. She lasted five innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs. TCC stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring five runs on a home run by Player A and an RBI triple by Player D. Four runs in the top of the sixth helped the North Paulding Wolfpack JV close their deficit to 5-4. An RBI single by C. Schneider, a two-run double by H. Richardson, and a passed ball set off the North Paulding Wolfpack JV rally. TCC closed the game out when PlayerB got H. Hambee to ground out.

North Paulding JV jump on the Hiram Lady Hornets early and coast to 12-0 win
North Paulding JV jumped out to an early lead on the Hiram Lady Hornets and captured a 12-0 victory on Saturday at North Paulding High School. The game was decided quickly as North’s JV exerted their will early with 10 runs in the first three innings. H. Richardson went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for North Paulding. She doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and third innings. E. Mobley had an impressive outing against Hiram Lady Hornets’ lineup. The Hiram Lady Hornets managed just one hit off of the the North Paulding Wolfpack JV’s pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during her four innings of work. The Wolfpack added eight more runs in the bottom of the third. The inning got off to a hot start when H. McGill singled, plating H. Richardson. That was followed up by A. Garren’s single, bringing home H. McGill. The Wolfpack tacked on another two runs in the fourth. A single by C. Schneider ignited the offense, scoring S. Carver.
