Dual-threat carries the North Paulding JV past the Etowah Lady Eagles 9-0
Haylee Folds was strong at the plate and in the circle in carrying the North Paulding Wolfpack JV to a 9-0 victory over the Etowah Lady Eagles on Tuesday at North Paulding High School. H. Folds racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Wolfpack. She doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Folds kept the Etowah Lady Eagles off the scoreboard for all four innings she was on the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up five. Nine runs in the first three innings helped North blow out the Etowah Lady Eagles. An RBI single by Hannah McGill, a two-run double by Folds, and a ground out by Anna Garren in the first inning and an RBI single by McGill, a ground out by Folds, an RBI double by Sara Carver, and a passed ball during the second inning helped North Paulding put some runs on the board early.
