Shay Sullins’s effort not enough to carry North Paulding past Kennesaw Mountain, 1-0
Shay Sullins did her best to change the outcome, but Sullins couldn’t lead the Wolfpack past Kennesaw Mountain as North lost 1-0 in seven innings on Thursday.
Sullins brought the heat against Kennesaw Mountain during her outing. Kennesaw Mountain managed just three hits off of the Wolfpack Varsity pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none during her five innings of work.
Haley Glass got it done in the circle on the way to a win. She tossed seven innings of shutout ball. She struck out four, walked one and surrendered three hits.
Sullins took the loss for the North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity. The lone run of the game for Kennesaw Mountain crossed the plate in the fifth inning on a sacrifice fly by Ashton Childress.
