Haylee Folds Leads North Paulding JV to 7-0 Victory
Haylee Folds was strong at the plate and on the rubber in carrying North to a 7-0 victory over the South Paulding Spartans on Wednesday at South Paulding High School
The Wolfpack’s Haylee Folds was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. She singled in the first, second, and fourth innings. Fold’s kept the South Paulding Spartans off the scoreboard for all five innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up nine.
Five runs in the opening three innings allowed North to easily put away the South Paulding Spartans. A steal of home by Baleigh Tibbitts in the first inning and a passed ball, a sacrifice fly by Harlie Richardson, and an RBI single by Anna Garren during the second inning fueled North Paulding’s offense early.
