No-hitter leads North Paulding past McEachern 15-0
Emma Wilson was great on Thursday, throwing a no-hitter in the Wolfpack’s 15-0 victory over McEachern. No McEachern batter was able to locate Wilson’s pitches during the game. Wilson threw a no-hitter, striking out eight batters and walking none while recording her momentous feat. She got Courtney Windham to fly out for the final out of the game.
Everything was working at the plate for North Paulding in the first. In that inning North scored nine runs. The Wolfpack scored in the first on an RBI single by Wilson, an RBI single by Shay Sullins, an RBI double by Maddy Holloway, an error, an error, a two-run double by Brooke Whittemore, and a two-run single by Caeley Anderson.
North Paulding piled on four more runs in the top of the fourth. An error scored Holloway for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by Whittemore’s double, bringing home Lou Bell and Hannah McGill.
