North Paulding JV Falls to Hillgrove Lady Hawks 4-1

North Paulding fell to Hillgrove Lady Hawks 4-1 at Hillgrove High School.

B Bacchus got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed one run over six innings. She struck out five, walked one and surrendered three hits. Hillgrove Lady Hawks was sparked by D Mill and G Smith, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.

Haylee Folds ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted six innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

Hillgrove Lady Hawks jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. After T Smith singled, Hillgrove Lady Hawks kept the pressure on the North Paulding Wolfpack JV pitching, as Smith doubled, plating Mill. The lead stayed with Hillgrove Lady Hawks after the third, when it scored three runs on two doubles and an error.
