Wolfpack JV Wins Both KM Tournament Games

North Paulding JV On Against Allatoona, 7-5

Allatoona was unable to fight back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the North Paulding Wolfpack JV, and Allatoona lost 7-5 to North Paulding after falling behind by six runs in the third inning.

Allatoona scored on a ground out by B. Latham in the fifth inning and an RBI triple by A. Walper, an RBI triple by H Dycus, an RBI single by A. Byrd, and an RBI single by Latham in the sixth inning. Despite its efforts, Allatoona couldn’t finish the comeback.

Harlie Richardson boosted her batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace North. She tripled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Even though Emma Mobley allowed five runs over six innings she still recorded the victory. She struck out four, walked three and surrendered nine hits.

A. Walper took the loss for Allatoona. She allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.

North Paulding went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Haley Hambee, a ground out by Courtney Schneider, and an RBI triple by Richardson.

North Paulding increased their lead with three runs in the third. Schneider kicked things off with a single, bringing home Richardson. That was followed up by Gloria May’s single, plating Carver.

After a quick strike from Allatoona, North responded with one run in the fifth. The Wolfpack scored on an RBI single by Richardson.

North Paulding JV Beats Pope Greyhounds 9-6

North Paulding JV beat Pope Greyhounds 9-6 in five innings on Saturday at Adams Park Field #2 behind Haley Hambee, who went 3-3 at the plate.

Haylee Folds recorded the win for the Wolfpack even though she allowed six runs over five innings. She struck out six, walked five and surrendered three hits. North went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on two singles.

The Wolfpack piled on six more runs in the top of the fourth. Folds kicked things off with a single, bringing home Hayley Hambee. That was followed up by Sara Carver’s single, scoring Harlie Richardson.

Six Pope Greyhounds runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the fifth, making the score 9-6. A bases loaded walk by C Burrows, an RBI single by M Freeman, a three-run triple by C Deady, and an error gave Pope Greyhounds life. Finally, Folds got C Hearn to fly out to end the game.
