South Paulding Captures Lead Early To Defeat North Paulding JV

North Paulding JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-3 loss to South Paulding on Wednesday. South Paulding captured the lead in the first inning when an error scored one run.

Jarvis earned the win for South Paulding. She threw seven innings, giving up three runs, nine hits, striking out three, and walking zero. Natalie Haggard took the loss for North Paulding. She pitched three innings, allowing three runs, four hits, striking out two, and walking one.

The Wolfpack collected nine hits. Anna Garren and Haley Hamby each collected multiple hits for North Paulding Wolfpack JV. Madison Morlett and Alex McCook each drove in one run to lead North Paulding.

South Paulding had nine hits in the game. Anderton and Martin each collected multiple hits for South Paulding. South Paulding was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Farmer made the most plays with seven.
