Haylee Folds didn’t allow a single run as North Paulding defeated Marietta 18-0 on Tuesday. Folds allowed just one hit and struck out Mikayla Duke to end the game.
North secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the second inning. The Wolfpack scored on a single by Harlie Richardson, a single , a triple by Ashlee Bell, an error, a single by Meadow Villar, a double by Haylee Folds, and an error.
One bright spot for Marietta was a double by Kahmillian Whitmore in the third inning.
Folds earned the win for the Wolfpack. She pitched three innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, striking out six, and walking zero.
North Paulding had 11 hits in the game. Villar, Nikki Smith, and Richardson each collected multiple hits for North Paulding. Baleigh Tibbitts, Folds, Richardson, and Smith each drove in two runs to lead North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity.
Villar led the Wolfpack with two stolen bases, as the team ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases. North Paulding was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Smith had the most chances in the field with six.
