Kennesaw Mountain Captures Lead Early To Defeat North Paulding Wolfpack

North Paulding fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 4-0 loss to Kennesaw Mountain on Thursday. Kennesaw Mountain scored on a single by Hannah Forehand in the first inning.

A single by Hannah McGill in the first inning was a positive for North Paulding.

Haley Glass earned the win for Kennesaw Mountain. She went seven innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, striking out three, and walking one. Jill Dixon took the loss for North Paulding. She pitched six innings, giving up four runs, nine hits, striking out seven, and walking zero.

Haylee Folds and McGill each managed one hit to lead the Wolfpack.

Kennesaw Mountain collected nine hits. Glass, Boo Huddleston, and Michy Ramos each collected multiple hits for Kennesaw Mountain.

Creekview Captures Lead Early To Defeat North Paulding Wolfpack

North Paulding Wolfpack  fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 7-0 loss to Creekview on Wednesday. Creekview scored on a stolen base in the first inning and a groundout in the second inning.

The Wolfpack lost despite out-hitting Creekview eight to four.

Creekview captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored two runs for Creekview.
Creekview scored four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Creekview came thanks to a home run by Emily Wilkie and a home run by Erin Griffin.

A single by Jill Dixon in the second inning was a positive for North.

Ashton Maloney earned the win for Creekview. She went five innings, surrendering zero runs, six hits, striking out three, and walking zero. Emma Wilson took the loss for North Paulding. She threw three and two-thirds innings, giving up seven runs, four hits, and striking out one.

Home runs for Creekview came when Wilkie homered in the fourth inning and Griffin homered in the fourth inning.

Dixon went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Wolfpack in hits.

Creekview stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Faith Richards led the way with four.
