Varsity Wins Both In Double Header Against McEachern


North Paulding defeated McEachern 9-1 thanks to a strong start.

McEachern captured the lead in the first inning. Jordan Jackson drove in one when she singled in the first inning. North took the lead for good with three runs in the first inning. In the first a runner stole home and Kennedy Head induced Loren Walker to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

North Paulding scored four runs in the fifth inning. The Wolfpack’s big inning was driven by a single by Ashlee Bell, a walk by Meadow Villar, and a single by Hannah McGill.

North Paulding collected 11 hits. McGill, Harlie Richardson, Bell, and Emma Morris each collected multiple hits. Richardson and McGill each managed three hits to lead North.

Game Two

North Paulding took the lead late in the game in an 11-2 victory over McEachern on Thursday. North Paulding secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the sixth inning.

The Wolfpack’s big inning was driven by a groundout by Baleigh Tibbitts, a single by Meadow Villar, a triple by Emma Wilson, and a single by Emma Morris.

North knotted the game up at two in the top of the third inning.Hannah McGill drove in two when she homered in the third inning.

North Paulding took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Villar singled off of Zorie Price, driving in one run.

North Paulding scored seven runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a groundout by Tibbitts, a single by Villar, a triple by Wilson, and a single by Morris.
North Paulding collected 13 hits. Villar, Ashlee Bell, McGill, and Jill Dixon each collected multiple hits. Wilson, Morris, McGill, Villar, and Tibbitts each drove in two runs to lead North Paulding Wolfpack Varsity.
